Besides Disney, New York & Daddy's birthday.... we did even MORE fun stuff in September! Grammy took us to the zoo, we played with our friends in the pool, and did every day silly things (like putting Happy Meal boxes on our head)!! Wheeuu! We've been really busy! Now we have to start getting ready for Halloween! WHAA! HA! HA!

New York City

Just got back from New York City! We took a trip there for Tim's birthday to see the Met's & Yankee's stadiums before the tear them down. We did a ton of fun things: saw Statue of Liberty, went to Met & Yankee games, visited our cousins (Mia, Tony & Nancy), went to the Central Park Zoo, went to the Sports Museum of America and rode just about every subway there was! Evan's 1st Disney Trip

Evan took his first trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom to hang out with Uncle Robbie & Uncle Harry on September 6, 2008. He had lots of fun looking at everything and his uncle spoiled him with Pooh Bear, Tigger, Pirate Mickey & Mickey Mouse ears! His favorite feature was the Tiki Bird show that Uncle Robbie took him to. "Tweet, Tweet, Tweet", he kept yelling when the show was over! CLICK FOR PICS!

Ohio 2008

Evan & his mom went to Ohio August 15-20th. We loved seeing our family! I think Evan snuggled with every single one of them! We had a picnic at Aunt Irene & Uncle Buzz's house, saw Aunt Jeannette's new house, saw Aunt D perform at band night, tore through Grandpa & MiMi's houses & Evan had his 1st hair cut! We had all this fun, while Tim was still in Florida battling Tropical Storm Fay! love, Evan

July has been fun, fun, fun !!!!! Evan can walk everywhere now and gets into EVERYTHING! The toilet, toilet paper, potted herbs, glass.....you name it - he's checked it out! It's all worth it though, because we also get more hugs, kisses and goofy faces! Words he says: Daddy, MaMa, Ball (his favorite), down, done, cheese, dirty, wow, whoa. He tries to say PaPa, but it comes out more like WaWa!

Evan also had a visitor this month.....his cousin Matt! As you can see in the pic he mostly liked to stare at him, unless Matt touched a ball then let the throwing begin!

June was a great month! We got to see our family and had too much fun! We went to the Outer Banks the first week in June (previous blog), then MiMi, Aunt D, Anthony & Champ came to see us! Evan had so much fun being watched by MiMi & Aunt D everyday. He definitely didn't like having to go back to daycare the next week! Can you say spoiled???

We had so much fun on Evan's first vacation! Evan was a typical Florida beach bum (just like his daddy)! He loved to crush sand castles, eat sand, sit in the surf with his daddy, eat birthday cake & most of all, hang with his family!

Evan's 1st Birthday!

Evan had TOO much fun on his first Birthday! Mommy & Daddy got him a ball pit, books, bubble machine & a 35 ft. water slide! He loved going down the slide with his Daddy! He stuck his hand in the cake, but wasn't sure why everyone was staring at him (it's much more fun to get into things when you're not supposed to!) He tried to stay awake all day, but finally ended passing out on Mommy, balloon still in hand, for a quick nap. He's going to sleep GOOD tonight (so are we)! CLICK FOR PICS!

In April, Evan was very busy getting ready for his big day...His 1st birthday! He had to write invitations, plan all the food he wanted and picked out a "Finding Nemo" cupcake cake. He has been trying all kinds of new foods, but like chicken nuggets & chocolate chip cookies the best!! He also really like cheese as you can see in the pic! Tim went to his first Spring Opening game with the Lewis family (he got some cool pics!). April was so exhusting that my lovebugs had to sleep extra long! O my!

Tim & I also celebrated our 5th anniversary! We took a family trip to Orlando on that weekend and went to Sea World! We had so much fun! You can see those pictures in the blog below!

5 Year Anniversary

For our 5 year Anniversary we took a weekend trip to Orlando. Since Evan is still too young for Mickey, we went to Sea World! We had a blast! Tim & I hadn't been there since we were kids! On our anniversary night we went to a Luau. The show was awesome! Evan's eyes were about the size of basketballs and he had a real serious look on his face (especially when they were twirlling fire)!! Evan was ready for Shamu, but fell asleep on his Daddy before the show & didn't wake up until we had to leave at the end! We also had lunch inside the shark aquarium, which was our favorite!

Evan is ALL over the place! He walks while holding on, crawls everywhere, stuck his hand in the toilet, has two teeth (center bottom), smiles when he sees the camera, sat in grass for the first time, feeds himself, drinks from a cup (doesn't like the sippy cup), turns on the stereo, dances and is starting to get an attitude! He is almost 11 months old! We're already thinking about his first birthday party! Wow! How time flys......!

Happy Valentine's Day! We've had all kinds of fun in February! Evan is learning something new every day! His current feats are: He got his first tooth, with another close behind; he gives us kisses; he sits up from a laying down position; he can scoot (ALL over); he can stand up and holds on for dear life; he started taking a few steps (while holding on); he says mama & dada; he eats spaghetti; and he just went to his first Spring Traning game with his Daddy! It's been a blast! I can't wait until he wakes up to see what he does next!

We've been having so much fun in January that we haven't even taken that many pictures! Evan isn't crawling yet, but it will be any day now! He likes to pull himself up and "stand" (we can't let go) and he loves to look at anything new! (Who would of thought a plastic spoon could be so cool?)

It's been in the 70's and sometimes 80's in sunny Florida! Perfect time for visitors...... (hint, hint)

DECEMBER

Evan was very busy in December! First Grandpa came for a visit, then there were tons of lights to look at and colorful boxes and finally, he opened so many presents that he just fell asleep! He got so many nice things for his 1st Christmas and wants to tell everyone "THANK YOU"!

He's looking forward to 2008, but for some reason I don't think he'll be seeing the ball drop! (We hope he's in bed by then!!!!) We can't believe the year he was born is already over!! Let the fun begin! (Tim already bought his 1st T-ball set for next Christmas!)

Evan had a very Happy Thanksgiving! He tried a little mashed potatoes (again) and still wasn't too sure about them! This first pic was how he looked when he saw the big, old turkey bird! (Hee Hee!) Grammy came up and enjoyed the feast with us, then we went to the neighbor's house so Evan could meet Noah (Doris' 9 month old nephew). They were so cute together! Noah had some cool turkey socks on, which Evan pulled off and chewed on, of course! AND for all the Northerner's.... It was about 85 degrees on Turkey Day!

Evan's 1st Trip to Ohio & Christening

Evan finally went to Ohio to meet the rest of his family & get Christened. He had lots of fun having everyone hold him & give him hugs! He didn't especially care for being bundled up in a coat, but he got over it after a few seconds!

He was a very good boy on his 1st plane ride & in church, but he's a good boy all the time so it wasn't surprise!

This pirate doesn't play! Doesn't he look tough in this picture? He had fun watching Daddy scared the "poop" out of the neighborhood kids. So much fun, in fact, that he fell asleep for awhile! Daddy was a scary clown, but Evan didn't seem to care! He was the only kid to actually laugh at him!

We had a busy Spetember! Uncle Robbie & Harry came down to see Evan & then they went to Disney to see Mickey Mouse! It was Tim's 28th birthday, Dante sent Flat Stanley down to visit & Evan learned roll over! Everytime he hits the ground...he's over!

AUGUST

MiMi & Aunt D sent Evan his 1st OSU shirt! As you can see in the picture, he loves being an Ohio State fan and has even mastered his salute to Michigan (see left hand)!!! We did not do that, by the way! He already has his mind made up...Screw the Blue!

Last time we weighed him he was 16 lbs 4 oz. He holds his head up all by himself and loves to think everything is his business! (Especially EVERYTHING his Daddy is doing!) We hold him up, so he can sit like a big boy! He loves it! He also has found out that he can talk...sort of! He goes on & on about AHH, AHHH, OOHH, squeals & laughs! He really loves talking on the phone to Grandpa, MiMi & Aunt D! (Mommy can barely hear them!) He's a real trip and getting cuter by the minute!

JULY

Evan had a great 1st Fourth of July! We didn't take him to see any fireworks this year, but next year look out! He's also been getting so big this month! He's up to around 14 lbs. now! Coo, Goo & Umm are his favorite things to say and he gets really excited when he sees the soccer ball on his mobile (that ususally leads to a small screech)! Don't know if it's possible, but we think he's getting cuter every day!

Grandpa & Aunt Patty Visit

Grandpa & Aunt Patty came to visit for a long weekend! We had a great time and wished they weren't leaving so soon!

Aunt Patty taught Evan to say "OOOooo....." He gets a big kick out of that! Evan also had some pretty big smiles saved up for Grandpa! Too cute! Grandpa and Tim began the installation of the baby proofing (baby gate). He will have to finish his job when he returns in November!

Aunt Tomi, Great Grandma & Goelena Visit

Aunt Tomi, Great Grandma & Goelena came to meet Evan and we got them to cook us a gourmet meal! That's right..... Grandma cooked (she had two wonderful helpers though)!!! They made gnocchis. Yummy!

Goelena, of course, had a great time being able to walk out the back door and swim anytime she wanted! Grandma & Aunt Tomi had a wonderful time due to their personal bartender, Tim, who made them Dirty Bananas every day!

MiMi & Aunt D Visit

Evan's Grandma, MiMi, and his Aunt D came to visit him! He loved every second of it! He wakes them up every morning at 6:30-7am and his Mommy goes back to sleep! They love it, because they get to stare at him and watch all the funny faces he makes. He likes to laugh in his sleeps too! We have to check their luggage before they leave...they want to take him back to Ohio! No way!!!!! He has to be here for Aunt Tomi, GiGi & Goelena!

Evan's 1st Day at the Beach

Today was Evan's first day at the beach! He loved it, so much that he slept most of the time! He sat with his MiMi under the umbrella while his Dad, Mom and Aunt D went snorkeling! He checked out a couple of girls (he really liked one in a hot pink bathing suit!), ate his bottle and talked to his MiMi. MiMi was in all her glory, because several people stopped by and told her how cute he is..... "This is my grandson!", she said, with a big ol' cheesy smile!

Pool Time!

Evan took his 1st swim in his pool today! Daddy put him in the turtle raft MiMi & Aunt "D" bought him and he was off! He didn't even mind the cool water! He just chilled in there for about five minutes, then he was out sitting with MiMi on their swing!

Evan's 1st Bath!

Evan had his 1st bath, which he didn't really care one way or the other about it! He woke up from his nap with a huge amount of poop in his diaper. Apparently that stuff turns to paste rather quickly! Not all the butt wipes in the land could have saved us, so Daddy had to "hose him down"! He sat there quite contently as we scrubbed him down, took pictures & video taped him! He probably thinks we're nuts!!

Our little one is finally here! He even did Mommy a favor and came 2 weeks early! Evan is healthy and the cutest thing we ever laid eyes on! Mommy is feeling better each day....and YES..... it was all worth it!

We came home today and are having fun hanging out together! Just the three of us!!

4D Ultrasound

We couldn't wait to see the baby, so we had our 4D ultrasound yesterday, 3/21/07! He is so cute!! He keep putting his hands over his face! At first he was very sleepy and kept rubbing his eyes and yawning! We even saw him open his eyes a few times! Towards the end he wouldn't hold still (just like his father) and eventually rolled over and turned his back to us! What a brat! We still got some great pictures and a DVD of him!

Baby Shower #2

We had our second baby shower on Sunday, March 11th. It was great! We saw a bunch of friends & got a ton of beautiful gifts! Tim's mom did a great job with the shower, including poopy diapers filled with unidentified, melted candy bars! YUK! Hopefully Tim & I will never come across anything that disgusting!! We'd like to thank everyone again for all of the baby gear! Who knew someone so small needed so much stuff!

Our Baby Boy!!!!

On January 3, 2007, we found out that we are having a baby boy! Daddy is definitely excited and already has plans for him to play with the New York Mets! I was thinking we should teach him to walk first, but it looks like he'll be throwing baseballs! We don't have any names yet, but still have some time for that!

He's sucking his thumb in this ultrasound, which is too cute! We're at 21 weeks, so the half way mark has arrived!

Here my 2nd ultrasound! The head is on the left, spine across the top & legs are on the right! We still couldn't tell what it is, because it refused to roll over! Stubborn! Just like the rest of my family! ;-) Kind of looks like Tim! LOL! I'm starting to feel it moving around and it tickling my stomach like crazy! I sit at work and laugh! They probably think I'm nuts! O-well! It's just too cute!

Thanksgiving at Disney!

We went to Disney World for Thanksgiving! It was packed and I got kind of tired, but we had fun. I couldn't go on all the rides, of course, so I did a lot of people watching! Tim made his mom go on all the scary rides, but insists that they didn't count because her eyes were shut most of the time!

Halloween 2006

The monster in the middle is Tim! Yikes! There's nothing we love more than to scared the crap out of the neighborhood kids! We even scared a few parents!

We had strobe lights, fog machine, ghosts, the works! Kids were dropping their candy in the driveway and were too afraid of Tim to come back for it! Maybe it was because he was jumping out of the smoke and giving them candy from a bucket that said "Poison"!

Watch out for the creepy crawlys!

Baby's 1st Picture

I just finished up my first trimester, so it's time to get the word out! We're going to have a baby! Our due date is May 20, 2007.

As always it's hard to see it in these pictures, but it's the light spot to the left of the large dark area. The little circle next to it is the yolk sac, which should be gone by now (I think!)

We have a couple more ultrasounds I'll put out here when we get them!

The Milano's come to Florida!

Aunt Tomi, Uncle Dom, Goelena & Mr. Milano came down for a great visit to Florida! We had so much fun! We went to Lion Country Safari, went to the beach, watched the OSU game with the Ohio State Alumni Club, went out to eat and, of course, swam in the pool every day!

They went on a 4-day cruise and saw Mickey Mouse & the gang. Goelena & I hung out and watched Scooby Doo and the Disney channel. AND we laughed and laughed and laughed! Goelena is a trip!

We love having family in town! Who's next?

Al's Visit to Florida

Al came down for a long weekend! We did some major maxing & relaxing! Tim & I joined the Ohio State Alumni Club, so we went to Duffy's to watch Penn State lose to OSU! We also made Al do a bunch of stuff for the first time, like float on a raft & boogie board! It was pretty hilarious!!!

Key Largo Trip

Our trip to Key Largo, FL was excellent! We snorkeled at 3 different locations on Saturday! The views were amazing! We didn't see anything bigger than us, so that was good!

On Sunday we went to a place called Theater of the Sea, which was kind of like a small Sea World type place. It had dolphin, sea lion, & parrot shows. Tim got a nice big smooch from the sea lion named, Mimi! We also did some shopping and ate some awesome seafood! Can't get it much fresher than that! We'd love to go back when all you tourists are gone!

Trip to Tampa, FL

I had GIS training for a week in Tampa, so Tim came with me and we made a trip out of it! We had a great time, besides having to go to school everyday! I had Network Analyst & Spatial Analyst training on the USF campus (sounds exciting, right?!)

The best thing we did was go to the Tampa Bay Devils Rays (MLB Baseball team there) Stadium. It was so nice! It's the first time we've been to a dome stadium and let me tell you.... when it's 98 degrees + 80% humidity, it's the only way to go! It was 72 degrees in there and they had a ton of stuff to do and even more places to eat! They even had an Outback - to go! They also have a huge Devil Ray tank above the outfield. You could go up and touch & feed them! It was pretty cool to do that and watch the game at the same time!

We also stopped at Clearwater Beach the last night. The sand is really white! It was pretty, but really touristy. I guess it's not that exciting when you live ten minutes from the Atlantic!

Terri's Visit

Terri came down for a long weekend! We had a great time! We ate too much food, went to Lion Country Safari, talked until 1:00am and rubbed her belly like Buddha! It was so cool to see her before Emily comes and I definitely can't wait to see them after November!
